Pasar Soponyono

Shopping at THE SOPONYONO'S TRADITIONAL MARKET - Rungkut Surabaya

Sunday is a good time to relaxing and take care of the house from sweeping the floor, mopping, watering plants. etc.....
Well, this morning i spend to take my wife shopping for the needs of the next week. Usually, she is shopping in Soponyono's traditional market located on the Rungkut Alang-Alang street. It's one of the main market in the region Rungkut Surabaya.

Conditions in the market like most other traditional markets in Indonesia. Crowded traders, less clean & neat is a general overview of this market. But this is an option because most of Indonesian society has to offer cheaper prices than we have to buy in a modern market with all the amenities and comfort.
Wide range of needs, such as vegetables, beef, fish, chicken, herbs, clothing and household items can also be found here. Specialty vegetables, fruits, beef, fish, chicken and fresh herbs in a state because it have to come directly from producing areas around Surabaya.

Mie Ratu

KEDAI KELUARGA "MIE RATU"
Rungkut Menanggal Harapan - Surabaya Indonesia

Actually this month Surabaya has entered the rainy season but somehow 'till this day has not rained only occasional drizzle. Very hot day, causing the skin to burn if it comes out without the use of protective skin (sun lotion). Better in the office in order to avoid sunburn.
Time to go home at six o'clock, but before going home to pick up my wife first who works in Juanda area. After pick up my wife, we looked for a place to have dinner on the way home. Finally we decided to have dinner at the KEDAI KELUARGA "MIE RATU" located on the Rungkut Menanggal Harapan street.
