Lamb Satay and Curry (Gulai) - Pucang Rinenggo Surabaya

Surabaya city has entered the rainy season that i've been waiting for a prolonged drought. From mid-November to December was raining almost every day brings cool air in the morning until noon. This cool weather conditions which makes me always feel hungry until i decided to stop by for a dinner at one of the roadside food vendors, located on the Pucang Rinenggo street (Pucang Post Office).
In this place there are many sellers who sell Indonesian-style dishes. For this occasion i chose to eat Lamb Satay & Curry is much visited by lovers of culinary in Surabaya. The strategic location and visible from the motorway to make this eating places are easily seen by anyone passing on the street of Pucang.

The food vendors here there are some who start open from morning until night and the other is open from afternoon until evening.
The Lamb satay & curry seller is open from late afternoon until the evening, but sometimes if there are a lot of visitors usually before 21.00 hours of the night are sold out. You can order complete meals such as steamed rice, curry lamb, lamb skewers (a portion), and an iced tea or orange. But that you also can order it in a separate state only eg. satay or curry.

You can booked to take home or eat on the spot. The place is not so big, but enough to hold about 30 buyers who provided some portable dining table. Not too comfortable, a lot of smoke from burning satay, because the expected is the flavor of the food instead the convenience. Buyers here willingly if their clothes smell of smoke from burning satay provided they get a place to eating in this place.

Visitors here there are some who just came home from work, having a special dinner here, treats colleagues and just starving like myself then remembered there is a delicious satay & curry lamb in the area of Pucang.

The Dining place

It (lamb meat) taste good, although there is still a distinctive aroma of lamb meat, satay seasoning made from processed fried peanuts is also delicious equipped with sliced red onion.

The price for one full serving lamb satay & curry for IDR 20.000,00. These prices are not exactly cheap but in accordance with the delicacy of taste has to offer. Beverages are available only tea & cold oranges. If you want a variety of drinks and ice juice then you can get it from vending contained in this vicinity.

Aqiqah & Syukuran

To facilitate the customer who live far away from this area will be provided direct service delivery with minimum purchase. Also provides a menu for Aqiqah and Syukuran with the purchase of minimum portion. You can call their telephone number written on the menu list or ask it directly to the seller.
